TTSSC Magnetic Island Training Camp 2026

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of swimming, friendship and fun!

The Townsville Tiger Sharks Training Camp is one of the highlights of our club calendar. Held at Apex Camp, Picnic Bay on beautiful Magnetic Island, this overnight camp is designed to help swimmers improve their race skills, build confidence, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

Whether you're an experienced Tiger Shark or joining our club for the new season, we'd love you to come along!

Dates: Saturday 29 – Sunday 30 August 2026
Location: Apex Camp, Picnic Bay, Magnetic Island
Cost: $250 per swimmer

Thanks to the generous support of our Camp Sponsor, Industrial Electricians NQ, together with TTSSC, the camp has been heavily subsidised to make this fantastic opportunity more affordable for our members.

What's Included?

Your camp fee includes:

• 🏊 Two race skills swim sessions with Coach Matt

• ⛴️ Return ferry tickets and island transfers

• 🛏️ Overnight accommodation

The camp focuses on developing swimmers both in and out of the pool, encouraging confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong love of swimming.

Who Can Attend?

The camp is open to all Townsville Tiger Sharks members, including swimmers who are joining the club for the upcoming season.

Supervision

• Swimmers aged 8 years and under must have a parent or adult supervisor attend with them.

• Swimmers aged 9 years and over do not require a parent to attend. Our experienced team of TTSSC volunteer supervisors will be caring for and supervising swimmers throughout the weekend in a safe, supportive environment.
